NORTH SEA BFOE – NOVEMBER 2016 – LOADING PROGRAMME

LONDON, Nov 5 (Reuters) – North Sea crude output tracked by Reuters will rise in December, boosted by hefty rises in some of the larger streams, leaving total supply around its highest for two years. Supply from the 12 major crude streams monitored from Norway, Britain and Denmark will average 2.054 million barrels per day (bpd), 2.4 percent above the downwardly-revised 2.01 million bpd average logged in November, according to Reuters calculations based on loading programmes provided by trade sources. This is the largest programme since December 2013 when loadings reached an 18-month high of 2.150 million bpd. The four crude grades that make up the dated Brent benchmark — Brent itself, Forties, Oseberg and Ekofisk (BFOE) — are scheduled to load an average of 1.026 million bpd in December, up from 900,000 bpd in November. The largest increases are expected in the supply of Forties, which is expected to rise by 25,000 bpd to near its highest in three years, and Ekofisk, which is scheduled to rise to its highest since last April, up by nearly 90,000 bpd. Increases of between 32,000-35,000 bpd in output of Brent and Troll will also partially offset decreases in the other eight grades for which supply is forecast to slow. The largest outright declines materalised in some of the Norwegian grades such as Oseberg, where supply is expected to drop by around 23,000 bpd, as well as those that do not underpin the dated Brent benchmark, such as Statfjord, which is expected to produce 32,000 bpd less than in November. Details of the planned loading rates are provided below. Amounts are in barrels per day (bpd).
