Norway Oil Production – November 2016 – Official Data

  • Preliminary production figures for November 2016 show an average daily production of 2 153 000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate, which is an increase of 37 000 barrels per day (approx. 2 percent) compared to October.
  • Average daily liquids production in November was: 1 739 000 barrels of oil, 380 000 barrels of NGL and 33 000 barrels of condensate. The oil production is about 9 percent above the oil production in November last year and is about 11 percent above the NPD’s prognosis for December 2016. The oil production is about 5 percent above the prognosis so far this year.

Norway Oil Production – August 2016 – Official Data

  • Preliminary production figures for August 2016 show an average daily production of 1 929 000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate, which is a decrease of 202 000 barrels per day (approx. 9.5 percent) compared to July.
  • Production is less than last month, but not as low as expected considering, among other things, that Kårstø processing plant was closed for maintenance and production on Goliat stopped at the end of the month.

North Sea Summer 2016 Maintenance: Ekofisk, J-Area, Ula, Valhall and Tambar

ConocoPhillips said it plans ‘significant’ maintenance at both Ekofisk and J-Area oil fields without specifying dates. The Ula, Valhall and Tambar fields will halt for summer work coinciding with Ekofisk, BP Plc said in an e-mailed response to questions Wednesday.
