Norway Oil Production – November 2016 – Official Data

  • Preliminary production figures for November 2016 show an average daily production of 2 153 000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate, which is an increase of 37 000 barrels per day (approx. 2 percent) compared to October.
  • Average daily liquids production in November was: 1 739 000 barrels of oil, 380 000 barrels of NGL and 33 000 barrels of condensate. The oil production is about 9 percent above the oil production in November last year and is about 11 percent above the NPD’s prognosis for December 2016. The oil production is about 5 percent above the prognosis so far this year.

Norway Oil Production – August 2016 – Official Data

  • Preliminary production figures for August 2016 show an average daily production of 1 929 000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate, which is a decrease of 202 000 barrels per day (approx. 9.5 percent) compared to July.
  • Production is less than last month, but not as low as expected considering, among other things, that Kårstø processing plant was closed for maintenance and production on Goliat stopped at the end of the month.

Norway Oil Production – September 2014 – Official Data

Norway’s oil production went down by about 16 kbpd in September from August levels, but up a sharp 236 kbpd year-on-year.

Preliminary figures indicate an average daily production of about 1.834  mbpd of oil, NGL and condensate. The Alvheim, Draugen, Ekofisk, Oseberg Sør, Skuld, Svalin, Valhall, Vilje and Volund fields had reduced production in September due to maintenance and technical problems.

Norway Oil Production – July 2014 – Official Data

Norway’s oil production continued to go up in July, up for the second straight month after the volumes were subdued due to maintenance in May. Preliminary production figures for total crude, NGL and condensate output for July 2014 have been pegged at 1.935 mbpd. This is 153 kbpd (about 8%) higher m-o-m from revised June levels.

The Draugen, Skuld and Valhall fields had reduced production in July due to technical problems.
